Job Summary

Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner, a full-time position responsible for managing indemnity claims from inception to conclusion, requiring interaction with clients and claimants while adhering to company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 150 or fewer workers' compensation files, including complex claims
• Investigate claims, determine compensability, and administer benefits in accordance with state law
• Communicate with claimants, providers, and vendors to resolve claims efficiently

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Three or more years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Technical knowledge of statutory regulations and medical terminology
• Proficient in Word and Excel (preferred)
• Ability to independently manage fairly complex claims
