Job Summary
To analyze Lost-Time Workers Compensation claims for clients in CT, MA, NH, RI, and VT jurisdictions, the full-time salaried Workers Compensation Claims Examiner will adjudicate complex claims, negotiate settlements, and communicate with claimants and clients while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Analyzing and processing claims to achieve timely resolutions through investigation and information gathering
- Negotiating settlements of claims within designated authority
- Communicating claim activity and processing updates to claimants and clients
Required qualifications
- 2 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred
- Knowledge of CT, MA, NH, RI, and VT jurisdictions
- Licensing in CT, NH, RI, or VT is required
