Workers Compensation Claims Examiner

Job Summary

Analyzing Lost-Time Workers Compensation claims, the full-time remote Workers Compensation Claims Examiner will adjudicate complex customer claims, negotiate settlements, and communicate with claimants and clients while leveraging jurisdictional knowledge in CT, MA, NH, RI, and VT.

Key responsibilities

• Processing and analyzing claims through detailed action plans to achieve timely resolutions
• Negotiating claim settlements within designated authority limits
• Communicating claim activity and updates to claimants and clients effectively

Required qualifications

• 2 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification relevant to the line of business preferred
• Knowledge of Workers Compensation laws in CT, MA, NH, RI, and VT
• Licensing in CT, NH, RI, or VT is required
