Workers Compensation Claims Examiner

Job Summary

Analyzing workers compensation claims for various jurisdictions, the full-time remote Workers Compensation Claims Examiner will adjudicate complex customer claims, negotiate settlements, and communicate effectively with claimants and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and gather information to determine claim exposure and process claims to timely resolution
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority and report claims to the excess carrier
• Communicate claim activity and processing updates to claimants and clients professionally

Required qualifications

• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred
• Knowledge of licensing and jurisdiction for FL, GA, LA, SC, NC, and TX
