Workers Compensation Claims Examiner

Job Summary

Responsible for reviewing, adjudicating, and managing low- and mid-level workers' compensation claims, the full-time remote Workers Compensation Claims Examiner will ensure claims are processed in accordance with company guidelines and statutory regulations while developing action plans for timely resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate workers' compensation claims to determine compensability and benefits due
• Develop and manage claims action plans and coordinate processing with claimants and clients
• Establish return-to-work plans and manage claim payments, subrogation, and settlements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Three (3) or more years of experience in the workers' compensation field
• Certificates and/or licenses as required by State regulation
