Job Summary

Managing all aspects of indemnity claims handling remotely, the full-time Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner Licensed in MI, MN, IN will oversee a caseload of 150 or fewer workers' compensation files, ensuring compliance with state laws and company guidelines while interacting with clients and claimants.

Key responsibilities:

• Effectively manage a caseload of complex workers' compensation claims from inception to conclusion
• Determine compensability of claims and administer benefits in accordance with state law
• Communicate with claimants, providers, and vendors to resolve claims issues efficiently

Required qualifications:

• Adjuster's license in Michigan, Minnesota, and Indiana
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Three (3) or more years of related experience in claims handling
• Technical knowledge of statutory regulations and medical terminology
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (preferred)
