Job Summary

Analyzing and processing workers compensation claims, the full-time salaried Claims Examiner Workers Compensation I with NE jurisdiction experience will adjudicate complex customer claims, negotiate settlements, and communicate claim activities while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and gather information to determine the exposure on claims, ensuring timely resolutions
• Negotiate settlements of claims within designated authority and communicate effectively with claimants and clients
• Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to requests professionally and promptly

Required qualifications

• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred
• Knowledge of NH, VT, MA, CT, RI, DC, DE, WV, VA jurisdictions
• Strong ability to meet deadlines and exercise excellent judgment and discretion
