Workers Compensation Claims Examiner - VT & CT Licensed

Job Summary

To analyze Lost-time Workers Compensation claims for valued clients, the full-time Workers Compensation Claims Examiner - VT & CT Licensed will adjudicate complex claims, negotiate settlements, and communicate with claimants and clients while working remotely across CT, MA, NJ, and VT jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims to achieve timely resolutions through investigation and information gathering
• Negotiating settlements of claims within designated authority
• Communicating claim activity and processing details with claimants and clients

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Knowledge of CT, MA, NJ, and VT jurisdictions
• Licensing in VT and CT is mandatory
• Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred
