Job Summary

Workers' Compensation Claims Manager is a full-time salaried position that involves leading a team of claims professionals in managing complex workers' compensation claims while providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team managing higher complexity claims
  • Provide hands-on technical oversight for claims involving significant financial exposure and complex issues
  • Monitor workloads and staffing levels to ensure effective workflow management and alignment with departmental objectives
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered
  • 10-15 years of progressive workers' compensation claim experience, including higher complexity claims
  • Minimum of 1 year in a leadership role or heavily involved in resource management
  • Professional designations such as SCLA, CPCU, and/or AIC are beneficial
  • Valid driver's license required; claim adjusting license beneficial but not required
