Workers' Compensation Claims Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of experienced claims professionals, the full-time remote Workers' Compensation Claims Manager will oversee higher-complexity claims, provide technical guidance, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team managing complex workers' compensation claims
• Provide hands-on technical oversight for claims involving significant financial exposure and complex coverage issues
• Conduct regular quality assurance sessions on high exposure claims, delivering targeted feedback to improve outcomes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered
• 10-15 years of progressive workers' compensation claim experience, including handling higher complexity claims
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership role or resource management
• Professional designations such as SCLA, CPCU, and/or AIC are beneficial
• Valid driver's license required; claim adjusting license beneficial but not required
