Workers Compensation Claims Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Claims Representative to assist hospitals and medical providers in resolving accounts related to work-related injuries.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a queue of Workers' Compensation accounts and ensure timely follow-up with involved parties
• Submit insurance bills and documentation to Workers' Compensation carriers and manage appeals for denied claims
• Provide customer service support to patients and coordinate with clients to meet reimbursement guidelines

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred
• 1-5 years of related experience in medical billing, claims adjudication, or insurance
• Strong customer service background with a positive attitude
• Proficiency in data entry, MS Office applications, and web-based applications
• Ability to manage a large workload with strong organizational and time management skills
