Workers Compensation Claims Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Representative (IAP) - Workers Compensation Training Program.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete a designated classroom claims professional training program
• Adjust lost-time workers compensation claims and assist with medical only claims under supervision
• Document claims files, communicate with claimants and clients, and support other claims examiners

Required Qualifications and Education

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• Prior education or experience in customer service and data entry
• Knowledge of medical terminology and computer recordkeeping programs preferred
• State license or similar designations may be required
• Completion of the Sedgwick Claims Progression Program for internal candidates
