Job Summary
Detail-oriented and proactive professionals will find a full-time remote opportunity as a Workers Compensation Claims Representative, responsible for gathering workers' compensation details, submitting claims and documentation to insurance carriers, and managing communications with various stakeholders to ensure timely payments for medical services related to work-related injuries.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain a queue of Workers' Compensation accounts and ensure timely submission of insurance bills
- Contact employers and insurance carriers to obtain necessary injury and insurance information
- Review payments and denials, writing and submitting appeals as needed to secure appropriate reimbursements
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred
- 1-5 years of related experience in medical billing, claims adjudication, or workers' compensation
- Strong customer service background with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Proficient in data entry and familiar with MS Office applications
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage a large workload efficiently
