Job Summary

Analyzing Workers Compensation Lost-Time claims for a dedicated client, the full-time Workers Compensation Claims Representative will determine benefits due, manage claim action plans, and ensure compliance with service expectations, working remotely or in a hybrid schedule from Syracuse, NY.

Key responsibilities

• Process low-level workers compensation claims, determining compensability and benefits due
• Develop and coordinate action plans for claim resolution and return-to-work efforts
• Communicate claim actions with claimants and clients while maintaining professional relationships

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2 years of claims management experience or equivalent education and experience
• Knowledge of New York jurisdictional requirements
• Professional certification in the applicable line of business preferred
