Workers' Compensation Claims Representative

Job Summary

Managing a capped caseload of workers' compensation claims, the full-time Workers' Compensation Claims Representative will ensure compliance with multiple state laws and regulations while working remotely in the Central or Eastern Time Zone.

Key responsibilities

• Independently handle workers' compensation claims from inception to resolution, adhering to company procedures and regulatory requirements
• Ensure compliance with state workers' compensation laws, including timely filing of reports and benefit payments
• Negotiate settlements of claims within designated authority to achieve resolution

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of workers' compensation claims handling experience
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or relevant certifications preferred
• Licensed with a strong understanding of workers' compensation claims processes and legal requirements
• Proficiency with claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to manage multiple claims and prioritize workload effectively
