Job Summary

Detail-oriented and proactive professionals will find a full-time remote opportunity as a Workers Compensation Claims Representative, responsible for gathering workers' compensation details, submitting claims, reviewing payments and denials, and communicating with various stakeholders to ensure timely payments for medical services related to work-related injuries.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a queue of Workers' Compensation accounts and ensure timely follow-up with employers, insurance carriers, and patients
• Submit hospital and physician bills to insurance companies and manage appeals for denied claims
• Provide strong customer service, addressing client inquiries and updating account management systems with detailed information

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred
• 1-5 years of related experience in medical billing, claims adjudication, or workers' compensation
• Proficiency in data entry, word processing, and MS Office applications
• Strong customer service background with clear communication skills
• Ability to manage a large workload effectively and adapt to changing priorities
