Job Summary
Detail-oriented and proactive professionals will find a full-time remote opportunity as a Workers Compensation Claims Representative, responsible for gathering workers' compensation details, submitting claims, reviewing payments and denials, and writing appeals to ensure hospitals and medical providers receive appropriate payments for work-related injuries.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain a queue of Workers' Compensation accounts and manage submissions to insurance carriers
- Contact employers, patients, and insurance carriers to obtain necessary information for claims processing
- Review and appeal denied claims while providing strong customer service and timely updates to clients
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred
- 1-5 years of related experience in medical billing, claims adjudication, or workers' compensation
- Strong customer service background with professional communication skills
- Proficiency in data entry and MS Office applications
- Ability to manage a large workload effectively and adapt to changing priorities
