Seeking detail-oriented professionals, the full-time Workers Compensation Claims Representative will manage claims for work-related injuries remotely, gathering essential information, submitting claims, and communicating with various stakeholders to ensure timely payments for hospitals and medical providers.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a queue of Workers' Compensation accounts and ensure timely processing of claims
• Contact employers, insurance carriers, and injured workers to gather necessary injury and insurance information
• Submit claims and appeals to insurance companies while providing strong customer service and updates to stakeholders

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred
• 1-5 years of related experience in medical billing, coding, or claims adjudication
• Strong customer service background with professional communication skills
• Proficient in data entry and MS Office applications
• Ability to manage a large workload efficiently and adapt to changing priorities
