Job Summary

Detail-oriented and proactive professionals will find a full-time remote opportunity as a Workers Compensation Claims Representative, responsible for gathering workers' compensation details, submitting claims, and communicating with various stakeholders to ensure timely payments for medical services related to work-related injuries.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a queue of Workers' Compensation accounts and ensure timely submission of claims and documentation to insurance carriers
• Contact employers, insurance carriers, and injured workers to obtain necessary information for claims processing and resolution
• Review payments and denials, writing appeals as needed while providing strong customer service to clients

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred
• 1-5 years of related experience in medical billing, claims adjudication, or workers' compensation
• Proficient in data entry and MS Office applications
• Strong customer service background with clear and concise communication skills
• Ability to manage a large workload efficiently and adapt to changing priorities
