Job Summary

Detail-oriented and proactive professionals will find a full-time remote opportunity as a Workers Compensation Claims Representative, responsible for gathering insurance information, submitting claims, and managing communication between hospitals, employers, and patients to ensure timely payments for work-related injuries.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a queue of Workers' Compensation accounts and ensure timely follow-up with all parties involved
• Submit hospital and physician bills to insurance companies and handle appeals for denied claims
• Provide strong customer service and support to patients regarding the Workers' Compensation process

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred
• 1-5 years of related experience in medical billing, coding, or claims adjudication
• Strong customer service background and professional communication skills
• Proficiency in data entry and MS Office applications
• Ability to manage a large workload efficiently and adapt to changing priorities
