Key responsibilities
- Maintain a queue of Workers' Compensation accounts and ensure timely follow-up with all parties involved
- Submit hospital and physician bills to insurance companies and handle appeals for denied claims
- Provide strong customer service and support to patients regarding the Workers' Compensation process
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred
- 1-5 years of related experience in medical billing, coding, or claims adjudication
- Strong customer service background and professional communication skills
- Proficiency in data entry and MS Office applications
