Workers Compensation Claims Representative

Job Summary

Analyzing Lost-Time Workers Compensation claims for a dedicated client, the full-time remote Workers Compensation Claims Representative will adjudicate complex customer claims, negotiate settlements, and communicate with claimants and clients while ensuring adherence to service expectations and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims through well-developed action plans to achieve timely resolutions
• Negotiating settlement of claims within designated authority
• Communicating claim activity and processing updates to claimants and clients

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1 year of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Knowledge of jurisdiction, with preference for West Virginia
• Professional certification in relevant line of business preferred
