Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist (REMOTE - IA, MN, NE, WI).

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, gather, and transmit workers' compensation information accurately and timely
• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve lost time Workers' Compensation claims, including litigated claims
• Enter and maintain accurate information in the computer system during the claim process

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred
• 3-5 years of claims experience with a strong background in Workers' Compensation claims handling
• Active state-specific Workers Compensation License required or ability to acquire within three months of hire
• Jurisdictional expertise in Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Minnesota
• Technical designations such as AIC and CPCU are encouraged
