Job Summary

A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Claims Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a queue of Workers' Compensation accounts and maintain quality and productivity levels
• Gather necessary injury and insurance information from employers, carriers, and patients, and submit claims to insurance companies
• Provide customer service, assist with appeals on denied claims, and maintain documentation in multiple systems

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred
• 1-5 years of related experience in medical billing, claims adjudication, or workers' compensation
• Strong customer service background and a positive attitude
• Proficient in data entry, word processing, and MS Office applications
• Ability to manage a large workload and adapt to changing situations
