Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Only Claims Specialist to manage non-complex medical only claims and minor lost-time workers' compensation claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Receives claims, confirms policy coverage and acknowledges the claim
• Determines the validity and compensability of claims, establishes reserves, and authorizes payments
• Communicates claim status with customers, claimants, and clients while adhering to guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and related experience
• Minimum of 1 year of industry experience and claim handling
• Workers' Compensation experience required
• Licensed as required jurisdictionally
