Job Summary

Managing indemnity claims, the full-time salaried Lost Time Claims Specialist, Workers' Compensation will evaluate, investigate, and determine compensability for work-related injury claims while collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key responsibilities
  • Evaluate and establish action plans for managing medical and indemnity benefits associated with injury claims
  • Decide claim outcomes by applying established policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Collaborate with injured workers, employers, and medical professionals to facilitate timely return-to-work strategies
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
  • Three years of experience in workers' compensation insurance is required
  • One valid workers' compensation adjuster license is strongly preferred
  • Experience in managing claims through the litigation process
  • Knowledge of workers' compensation claims practices, laws, and state statutes
