Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist

Job Summary

Managing Workers' Compensation lost time and complex medical only claims, the full-time remote Lost Time Claims Specialist will evaluate claims, determine compensability, and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure effective claim management and outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and establish action plans for managing medical and indemnity benefits associated with injury claims
• Conduct thorough investigations and interviews to gather facts and determine claim outcomes based on established policies and guidelines
• Collaborate with injured workers, employers, and medical professionals to facilitate timely return-to-work plans and manage claims costs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
• Three years of experience in workers' compensation insurance is required
• One valid workers' compensation adjuster license is strongly preferred
• Experience with multiple state claims management is preferred
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage claims through the litigation process
