Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist, the candidate will manage the claims process by gathering information, investigating claims, and mediating between insured parties and insurance companies across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities:

• Receive and accurately transmit workers' compensation information from various stakeholders in a timely manner
• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve lost time Workers' Compensation claims, including litigated cases
• Enter and maintain accurate claims information in the computer system, including final settlement details

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred, with technical designations such as AIC and CPCU encouraged
• 3-5 years of experience in Workers' Compensation claims handling
• Active state-specific Workers' Compensation License required or the ability to obtain it within three months of hire
• Proficient knowledge of Workers' Compensation insurance coverage and claims processing procedures
• Strong grasp of claims principles, practices, and compliance requirements
