Job Summary

Managing indemnity claims remotely, the full-time salaried Lost Time Claims Specialist, Workers Compensation will investigate, evaluate, and determine compensability for work-related injury and disease claims while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure cost-effective outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluates and establishes action plans for managing medical and indemnity benefits related to injury claims
• Decides claim outcomes using established policies, procedures, and guidelines while conducting thorough investigations
• Collaborates with injured workers, employers, and medical professionals to facilitate timely and safe return to work

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
• Three years of experience in workers' compensation insurance is required
• One valid workers' compensation adjuster license is strongly preferred
• Experience in claims practices, laws, and court procedures related to workers' compensation
• Ability to manage claims through the litigation process effectively
