Job Summary

A company is looking for a Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist (IL, MI, IN, MD) REMOTE.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately transmit and gather workers' compensation information from various stakeholders
• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve lost time Workers' Compensation claims, including litigated claims
• Enter and maintain accurate information on the computer system during the claims process

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma; college degree preferred, with technical designations encouraged (AIC, CPCU)
• 3-5 years of claims experience with a strong background in Workers' Compensation claims handling
• Active state-specific Workers' Compensation License required or ability to acquire within three months of hire
• Proficient knowledge of Workers' Compensation insurance coverage and claims processing procedures
• Strong grasp of claims principles, practices, and insurance coverage interpretation
