Job Summary
Supervising multiple teams of examiners, the full-time Workers Compensation Claims Supervisor will adjudicate complex claims, provide technical direction, and ensure compliance with audit requirements while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Supervises and manages multiple teams of examiners and technical staff in workers compensation claims
- Identifies trends and issues, advising management on recommended actions for continuous improvement
- Acts as a second level of appeal for client and claimant issues, ensuring proper claim handling and documentation
Required qualifications
- 5 years of Workers Compensation claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Supervisory experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred
- Knowledge of jurisdictional laws in FL, GA, IN, KY, NC, SC, TN, VA
