Workers Compensation Claims Team Lead

Job Summary

To lead multiple teams of examiners and technical staff in adjudicating complex workers' compensation claims, the full-time remote Workers Compensation Claims Team Lead will supervise operations, provide training, and ensure timely claims resolution while leveraging jurisdictional knowledge in CA or NV.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and process complex general liability claims, managing them through well-developed action plans
• Oversee the litigation process to ensure timely and cost-effective claims resolution
• Lead team meetings, assign accountability for follow-up items, and provide performance feedback to colleagues

Required qualifications

• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred
• Knowledge of workers' compensation jurisdiction in CA or NV
• Experience in supervising and developing team performance
