Job Summary
A company is looking for a Specialty Operations Coordinator to analyze workers compensation claims and ensure proper adjudication.
Key Responsibilities
- Adjusts medical-only and low- to mid-level lost-time workers compensation claims under supervision
- Processes claims by reviewing compensability, benefits due, and filing documentation with state agencies
- Communicates claim actions with relevant parties and ensures proper documentation and coding of claims files
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- One (1) year of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Licenses as required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work in a team environment
