Workers' Compensation Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing Workers' Compensation revenue cycle operations, the remote Workers' Compensation Manager will manage medical claims related to workplace injuries, ensuring compliance and timely resolution while leading a team focused on operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight to Workers' Compensation revenue cycle staff, establishing performance expectations and monitoring productivity and compliance metrics
• Oversee daily accounts receivable operations, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of outstanding claims while managing workflow and prioritization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve claims issues, monitor denial trends, and implement process improvements for operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management, Workers' Compensation claims, or healthcare reimbursement operations
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of Workers' Compensation regulations, payer requirements, and denial management processes
• Experience with EHR/PM systems and workflow tools such as Artiva, Epic, Cerner, Athena, or Meditech preferred
