Job Summary
Leading operations within the Workers Compensation service line, the full-time salaried Workers Compensation Operations Director will manage payer follow-up operations, appeals resolution, and billing management in a remote setting while ensuring financial success and team development.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve financial objectives for the assigned region/business unit by managing revenue and operational strategies
- Lead a team to meet short-term goals and contribute to long-term planning in collaboration with senior leadership
- Oversee the employee evaluation process, ensuring continuous improvement of operational processes and personnel performance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting, Healthcare Management, Business (MBA/MHA), or a related field
- Three years of experience in the hospital revenue cycle management industry
- Minimum of two years of management experience leading a team of at least 10 people
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate teams through change
- Working knowledge of HIPAA, ACA, and EMTALA regulations
