Workers' Compensation Revenue Specialist

Job Summary

Acting as a liaison between key client contacts and insurance companies, the full-time remote Workers' Compensation Revenue Specialist will analyze claim payments, research and submit necessary documentation for reimbursement, and conduct follow-ups with payers to ensure timely claims processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze worker's compensation claim payments using proprietary software to ensure compliance with fee schedules and contracts
• Research and acquire medical records and supporting documentation for claims submission to insurance companies
• Conduct follow-up calls with payers to confirm receipt of claims and facilitate prompt reimbursement

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 1-2+ years of experience in healthcare billing or collections
• 1+ years of client-facing or customer service experience
• 1+ years of experience with workers' compensation billing and collections preferred
• Intermediate understanding of insurance payer/provider claims processing
