Workers' Compensation Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter specializing in Workers' Compensation Insurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite and retain new and renewal Workers' Compensation business through risk analysis and pricing
• Compile underwriting decisions and make referrals to management as needed
• Collaborate with the Sales Team to maintain strong agency relationships and meet territory goals

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience underwriting workers' compensation policies
• Commercial lines underwriting experience required
• Must have a P&C agent license or be committed to acquiring it within the first 90 days
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Ability to read, interpret, and calculate relevant documents and figures
