Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter II (Workers Comp).

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate workers compensation applications to determine coverage acceptance or decline based on underwriting guidelines
  • Approve or decline insurance applications within limits and ensure compliance with industry regulations
  • Document underwriting files and collaborate with the underwriting team to finalize applications efficiently
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 3 years of workers compensation underwriting or related insurance experience required
  • CPCU, CIC, CRIS, or Property & Casualty Brokers License is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn industry-specific software quickly
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and adapt to changing priorities
