Job Summary
A company is looking for an Underwriter II (Workers Comp).
Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate workers compensation applications to determine coverage acceptance or decline based on underwriting guidelines
- Approve or decline insurance applications within limits and ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Document underwriting files and collaborate with the underwriting team to finalize applications efficiently
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 3 years of workers compensation underwriting or related insurance experience required
- CPCU, CIC, CRIS, or Property & Casualty Brokers License is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn industry-specific software quickly
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and adapt to changing priorities
