Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Workers' Compensation Underwriter will underwrite new and renewal accounts by conducting risk analysis, adhering to pricing guidelines, and collaborating with the sales team to build agency relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Underwrite and retain new and renewal Workers' Compensation business through risk analysis and pricing compliance
- Compile underwriting decisions and collaborate with the sales team to maintain strong agency relationships
- Provide guidance to Underwriting Services staff and ensure timely communication with internal and external customers
Required qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience underwriting Workers' Compensation policies
- Commercial lines underwriting experience is required
- P&C agent license or commitment to acquire it within the first 90 days of employment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Product Suite
