Workers Compensation Underwriter

Job Summary

Providing concierge service to insureds and agents, the full-time Call Center Underwriter CL - Workers Comp will manage incoming calls regarding policy coverage, billing inquiries, and renewal reviews while ensuring accurate documentation and communication.

Key responsibilities:

• Receive and respond to incoming calls related to policy document requests and billing inquiries
• Review and set up new or renewal policies for delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely communication with stakeholders
• Process cancellations and maintain follow-up on outstanding items until resolution

Required qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor's degree; business degree preferred
• 2-4 years of agency experience in Personal & Commercial Lines or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3-5 years of experience servicing or selling Property & Casualty Insurance Commercial policies
• Previous call center experience is a plus
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) language skills preferred
