Workers' Compensation Underwriting Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a strategic and technically skilled Underwriting Technical Manager for a remote, full-time position, who will manage underwriting quality assurance, optimize processes, and lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency in Workers' Compensation underwriting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Underwriting Quality Assurance program and develop training methodologies
• Oversee system support staff and collaborate with IT on process enhancements
• Serve as a technical authority on complex accounts and ensure compliance with regulatory changes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, or a related field
• CPCU designation preferred
• 7+ years of Commercial Lines underwriting experience, particularly in workers' compensation
• 1-2 years of leadership experience preferred
• Strong understanding of underwriting guidelines and compliance requirements
