Job Summary

Responsible for the profitability and growth of all Workers' Compensation programs, the full-time salaried Vice President and General Manager will manage underwriting strategies, oversee premium audit teams, and collaborate with leadership to foster a tech-forward underwriting culture in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set and evolve underwriting strategy across assigned lines, balancing growth with profitability and risk management
• Maintain relationships with carriers, reinsurers, and distribution partners to drive growth while ensuring profitability
• Lead and mentor audit and underwriting teams, promoting continuous process improvement and operational excellence

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience in Workers' Compensation underwriting and program management
• Proven track record in developing and executing underwriting strategies that balance risk and profitability
• Strong relationships with industry stakeholders, including carriers and brokers
• Experience leading teams and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
• Ability to analyze portfolio performance and recommend pricing or risk selection changes
