Workplace Safety Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Workplace Safety Manager responsible for creating and executing a workplace safety strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update Emergency Management Preparedness and Injury and Illness Prevention Plans in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Implement safety training programs and conduct accident investigations and hazard analyses
• Onboard and train site-specific Safety Officers and ensure ongoing workplace safety management across locations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant professional experience in emergency management, public safety, or related fields preferred
• Strong preference for certifications such as DOT Hazmat, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens, or Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist
• Minimum of five years of experience in workplace safety and emergency preparedness
• At least two years of supervisory experience mentoring and developing team members
• Experience managing workplace safety in healthcare and various environments, with knowledge of regulatory requirements
