World Language Teacher

Job Summary

A company is looking for a World Language Teacher for the Global Passport Program, Grades 6-12.

Key Responsibilities

• Adapt online instruction to meet individual student needs and ensure key learning outcomes
• Curate instructional materials for the Global Passport curriculum and provide feedback on student work
• Assess student learning and communicate progress to colleagues and families while fostering an online community

Required Qualifications

• Online teaching experience with groups and individuals
• Deep knowledge and passion for the language and culture being taught (Chinese, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, or Korean)
• Expertise in task-based instruction and project-based language learning
• Native or near-native proficiency in the language of instruction
• Familiarity with common online tools such as Google Docs and Zoom
