Key Responsibilities

• Craft well-researched, engaging, and informative stories about the Black tech and entrepreneurial ecosystem
• Monitor the tech landscape and social media for emerging trends and breaking news
• Conduct interviews and develop original content ideas showcasing unique perspectives in tech-related topics

Required Qualifications

• B.A. in journalism, communication, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience writing and reporting for a digital news publication
• Fluency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Asana, or comparable project management tools
• Independent, entrepreneurial self-starter comfortable with high responsibility
• Knowledgeable of tech, business, and innovation news, particularly related to the Black community
