Job Summary

A company is looking for a Writer/Editor to create and refine content focused on bird conservation.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify storytelling opportunities that showcase the organization's mission and impact
• Write and edit digital content related to habitat and conservation practices
• Collaborate with team members to enhance content through visuals and ensure adherence to brand standards

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS or MA/MS in Journalism, English, or related field, with relevant coursework
• 1-2 years of experience in content development, preferably in an environmental or policy organization
• Knowledge of birds and bird biology resources
• Familiarity with AP style and experience in omnichannel communications preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, WordPress, Google Docs, and project management tools
