Job Summary

Providing expertise and customer service support, the full-time Senior Pharmacy PA/Appeals Technician will manage prior authorization requests for medications, ensuring compliance and high-quality service while working onsite in Cheyenne, WY, with flexible hours including weekends and on-call responsibilities.

Key responsibilities:
  • Manages a high volume of inbound and outbound calls related to prior authorization requests
  • Processes prior authorizations through multiple computer systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Resolves issues and complaints in a timely manner while documenting interactions per regulatory requirements
Required qualifications:
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Wyoming
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technicians Certification Board (PTCB) OR ExCPT certification
  • 6+ months of experience in customer service or customer relations within healthcare
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and a rotating on-call schedule every 3 weeks
