Yacht Underwriter
Job Summary
To profitably grow a yacht book of business, the full-time Yacht Underwriter will actively partner with brokers, manage underwriting execution, and analyze market conditions while working remotely in the US.
Key responsibilities
- Review and track performance of the book of business while analyzing market conditions and competition
- Build and manage relationships with brokers, developing tailored solutions and strategies
- Oversee new and renewal underwriting, selecting risks per company guidelines and ensuring timely follow-up
Required qualifications
- At least 3 years of P&C insurance experience, preferably in high net worth underwriting
- Proven ability to own and manage a book of business
- Strong data gathering and analysis skills for risk assessment
- Empathetic communication skills for building connections
- Demonstrated pride and determination in work performance
