Job Summary
To support a growing telehealth initiative, the contract-based Live Yoga Instructor for Seniors will lead virtual yoga classes tailored for older adults, focusing on gentle and accessible practices while fostering a welcoming online environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead live virtual yoga classes for older adults on a recurring weekly schedule
- Teach gentle, chair, and modified standing practices with clear verbal cueing
- Create a warm, encouraging class environment that keeps members engaged and returning
Required qualifications
- 200 hour yoga teacher certification (RYT-200 or equivalent)
- Two or more years of teaching experience, including work with older adults
- Demonstrated experience with chair yoga, gentle yoga, or adaptive practice
- Reliable high-speed internet and comfort with Zoom
- Professional liability insurance, or willingness to obtain it
