Youth Sports Controller

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Controller specializing in non-profits and youth sports organizations, the remote position will manage fund accounting, ensure tax compliance, and provide financial management for clients while collaborating with internal teams and mentoring staff accountants.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage fund accounting, ensuring compliance with GAAP and providing tailored support for youth sports organizations
• Coordinate tax filings and serve as the primary liaison between clients and the internal tax team
• Develop budgets and financial reports, presenting insights to Executive Directors and Boards of Directors

Required Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of accounting experience, including client-facing roles
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business, or equivalent experience
• At least 2 years of related experience with a focus on youth sports organizations
• Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Experience with QuickBooks Online and other financial management tools
