Seeking a self-motivated and curious YouTube Content Strategist for a remote contract role, who will manage content strategy and growth initiatives across Crunchyroll's global YouTube network, collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to enhance audience engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the content strategy for Crunchyroll's YouTube ecosystem, including main and affinity channels
• Provide creative direction for video clips, Shorts, and overall channel programming
• Analyze YouTube performance data to deliver actionable insights for content optimization and audience growth

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in content strategy, social media, or YouTube-focused roles
• Strong understanding of YouTube platform dynamics and audience growth strategies
• Proven ability to translate data into actionable content recommendations
• Experience working with external partners or agencies
• Passion for anime and familiarity with the anime industry and audience behavior
